During the week of E3, Nintendo offered fans something that no games publishers has ever offered before. In the past, new games announced at E3 were only playable at E3. Once again, Nintendo has broken out of the mold and offered their fans all across the US the ability to play Nintendo E3 games. At Best Buy locations, on the dates of June 12th and June 15, fans have the opportunity to play Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Mario Kart 8 and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. As the June 11th, Nintendo Direct came and went, many Nintendo enthusiasts were surprised to find out that Retros big title was Donkey Kong Country Returns: Tropical Freeze as that was the last game many figured Nintendo to be working on. A hypothesis arose from fans that Retro Studios might actually be working on two games at once, but as revealed today, while Retro admits it certainly is possible for them to work on a big project and a little project, the next time well see a new Metroid title is someday.
